Problem

The Call Jump feature may fail if certain criteria are not met.

Solution

Desktop

You can only use the Call Jump feature on MaX UC Desktop if you are in precisely one call. The options to push and pull a call will only be displayed on the MaX UC Desktop UI when you are in a call that is available to pull.

You cannot use Call Jump on a call that has been handled using Call Park, for example on a call that you have picked up from a Call Park orbit.

Call jump will fail to work if your firewall is not configured correctly. You must ensure that port 443 is not blocked by your firewall. This port is used by MaX UC Desktop.

Mobile

You can only use the Call Jump feature on MaX UC Mobile if you are in precisely one call. The call-pull bar on the dialer screen should indicate whether this is the case. When there are no active calls (or multiple active calls), the Call Available indicator will not be usable. When there is exactly one call in progress, the button will be highlighted, and will display text indicating that a call is available to pull.
