Your phone line has choppy or distorted audio on one or both ends of the call. 


This issue typically impacts customers using a VoIP service like VONtel. It indicates that there is not enough bandwidth available on the network to make or receive the call. To resolve this issue, try the following:  

  • Verify that there is enough bandwidth available for the phone call on the network. Try stopping any uploads or downloads going on in the network and try the call again. 
  • Reboot the ATA by unplugging it from power for 15-30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Wait for the ATA to start back up and then try the call again.
